What is TAWWER?
TAWWER is ERDC’s digital platform for the UAE R&D Tax Credit and the single channel for submitting R&D projects for Pre-Approval.
Through TAWWER, applicants can track status, respond to Requests for Information and receive outcomes. TAWWER is not a tax filing system and does not calculate the final credit.
Access
How to Access TAWWER
Sign in to TAWWER using UAE PASS as an individual authorised to act on behalf of the Qualifying Entity.
Add the Qualifying Entity seeking Pre-Approval and enter its Tax Registration Number.
Request organisation access. The request must be approved by the Qualifying Entity’s authorised signatory registered with the Federal Tax Authority.
Once the organisation-access request is approved, return to TAWWER and begin the application on behalf of the Qualifying Entity.

Maintain technical, financial and project records, retain the Pre-Approval reference and ensure activities and expenditure remain consistent with the approved scope.
